Natural Canadian Wonders

Not many people would have Canada at the top of their holiday wish list however some of it its natural wonders make it a must-see spot in your lifetime! We tend to think Canada is the other side of the planet but the average flight time is around 8 hours.

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is essentially the holy grail of natural wonders. If it’s one thing you do in your life time you certainly should experience its thunderous echoes of three neighbouring cascade. With its 168,000 cubic metres of water falling per minute catches your fancy it truly is a sight to behold. You can see it from a boat, by trekking through tunnels behind the water or at the viewing deck just metres away to catch a splash.

Northern Lights

You've probably seen images of the Aurora Borealis, better known as the Northern Lights, but seeing this dazzling illuminating show in the sky in person is a completely different experience. There are a few destinations that are a best spot for seeing these magical lights, but taking a trip to Fort McMurray in Alberta is practically a guarantee to view the evening sky like you've never seen it before. Winter is usually best for seeing these lights!

Dinosaur Provincial Park

If you’re a fan of the movie “Jurassic Park” and want to experience something similar in real life then taking a trip to the Dinosaur Provincial Park in Brooks, Alberta is pretty much the closest you’ll ever get to these prehistoric beasts. Around 75 million years ago Canada was thought to be bursting with dinosaurs and here you will find extremely well preserved fossils from over 40 species.

Singing Sand

There’s a little place on the beaches of Basin Head in Prince Edward Island in Canada, the shores tend to be a tad more melodic than many travellers are accustomed to. Taking a stroll through the sands of Basin Head creates a unique sound when your feet touch the surface, an almost whistling-like tune that many say sounds like faint singing. Scientists still aren't exactly sure what causes this natural phenomenon, but the singing and on Prince Edward Island is certainly worth your time for noteworthy day on the beach.

If all that isn’t enough then please agree that the chance of seeing a grizzly bear might be more a reason to book!
